Job summary

SEG Solar, Inc. seeks a Sales Manager to lead its energy storage business in Indonesia. Build and run a local sales team, drive growth across residential, commercial & industrial, and utility-scale BESS, and coordinate with headquarters in China.

You will own regional plans, develop channels, and manage end-to-end projects from engagement to payment, while aligning with local market policies and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on overseas sales experience in energy storage or new energy.
• At least 2 years of overseas sales team management experience, with demonstrated success in establishing and developing teams.
• Willingness to be based in Indonesia long-term and undertake frequent regional business travel.
• Understanding of local energy storage policies, market conditions, channel structures and industry practices.
• Basic familiarity with distributor, customer, government, enterprise, and industry networks in Indonesia (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the Indonesia-based sales team, including recruitment and onboarding.
• Develop localized sales strategies and channel coverage for ESS across residential, C&I, and utility-scale.
• Lead key account development, negotiations, and ongoing relationship management.
• Manage full commercial project cycle: proposals, quotations, contracts, delivery, and payments.
• Coordinate with the team in China on market developments and regional planning.
