PT WOBN TECHNOLOGY INDONESIA is seeking a seasoned Electrical Panel Engineer to lead the full design-to-installation lifecycle. You will oversee SLD creation, wiring, layout, production, assembly, testing, and commissioning on industrial projects.
You will coordinate with production, project and vendor teams to meet schedules, ensure IEC/SPLN/PUIL compliance, and deliver clear technical reports. English communication and team leadership are essential for success in this role.
Responsible for the entire electrical panel engineering process from design through field installation. Oversee and ensure design panel (SLD, wiring, layout), production & assembling, quality control & testing, and installation & commissioning processes.
Key responsibilities
Oversee the entire electrical panel engineering process from design to field installation
Supervise design panel (SLD, wiring, layout), production & assembling, quality control & testing, and installation & commissioning
Conduct analysis and troubleshooting of electrical panel technical issues
Coordinate with production, project, and vendor teams to ensure projects run according to timeline
Participate in project tender processes (especially PLN / industrial): review technical specifications, prepare technical documents, and provide support in bidding
Ensure all work complies with standards: IEC / SPLN / PUIL
Prepare and compile monthly project & engineering reports to management
Provide improvements and efficiency in design and production processes
Supervise and develop the engineering team
About you
Minimum S1 degree in Electrical Engineering (High Voltage / Power Engineering preferred)
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical panels or related industry (LV/MV panel)
Understand end-to-end electrical panel processes: design (SLD, wiring diagram), production / assembling, testing & commissioning, and site installation
Experience in electrical projects (industrial / utility / PLN)
Understand standards and regulations: SPLN / IEC / PUIL
Able to read and create electrical technical drawings
Strong technical problem analysis capability
Experienced in preparing monthly / progress reports
Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders (vendors, clients, PLN)
Able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
Good teamwork, communication, and coordination skills
Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work to project deadlines
