Job summary

RELX International Enterprise HK Limited in Batam is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead the construction and commissioning of factory electrical systems for electronic manufacturing.

You will review designs, ensure compliance with Indonesian PUIL and IEC standards, supervise ELV works, and develop preventive maintenance programs for UPS and generators. 5–8 years of industrial electrical engineering experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in industrial electrical engineering.
• Experience in factory construction for electronic manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EHS operations, electrical safety, fire safety, HIRA, and environmental standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for electrical drafting.
• Skilled in ETAP load-flow and short-circuit calculations.
• Holder of Ahli K3 Listrik / Teknisi K3 Listrik certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction and commissioning of the factory substation, coordinating with PLN Batam for HV/MV grid connection, transformer installation, and power energization
• Manage the planning and integration of LV electrical and MEP system, including distribution panels, MCC, UPS, and voltage stabilization for automated manufacturing facilities
• Review EPC electrical designs and drawings, and perform power system analysis (ETAP), including load flow, short-circuit, and load schedule evaluations
• Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with Indonesian PUIL regulations and international IEC standards
• Supervise Electrical and ELV Construction works, monitor project progress, and lead FAT for electrical equipment
• Develop preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems, UPS and generators and oversee troubleshooting of production equipment

Job description

Lead the construction and commissioning of factory electrical systems for electronic manufacturing facilities, including substation and grid connection management, LV electrical and MEP system integration, technical design review, and compliance with Indonesian and international electrical standards.

Key responsibilities

About you

Good understanding of EHS operations, such as EHS regulations, general electrical safety, fire safety, HIRA, and environmental management standards

Highly proficient in AutoCAD for electrical drafting

Skilled in using ETAP for load flow analysis and short-circuit calculations

Hold a valid Ahli K3 Listrik / Teknisi K3 Listrik certification
