Job summary

Beca is seeking a Desktop Analyst to join its IT Customer Service team. You will provide ICT support across the business, ensuring hardware solutions and compatibility with numerous applications, while delivering high-quality service and resolving incidents efficiently.

You will handle end-user IT support for hardware and software, train staff on ICT systems, and assist with project site office setups and server issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in desktop and laptop products in a Windows operating environment.
• Experience providing 1st and 2nd line support for user requests and resolving software/hardware issues.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office 365, Group Policy, Windows OS, device management and support.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain technical details to users of varying IT knowledge.
• Confident with transitioning to new laptops and loading branding and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective ICT support to all Beca users across the business.
• Deliver high quality service to internal and external clients.
• Manage incidents and service requests to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Provide timely communications to clients, ICT team leaders and managers.
• Assist with setting up project site offices and provide documentation and recommendations.
• Assist with server issues/outages as required.
• Maintain and conduct stock takes for hardware and peripherals.
• Provide end-user IT support for hardware and software.
• Train and support staff on ICT systems as appropriate.
