Job summary

Cargill is seeking a Customer Operations Specialist to support moderate scale customer service activities for domestic and export markets. You will help optimize shipping, returns, and order processing while resolving delivery issues and maintaining ERP data accuracy.

The role emphasizes collaboration across functions, use of SAP, and leveraging digital tools to improve efficiency in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Customer Service/Customer Operations/Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Proficient in using ERP systems, with SAP preferred.
• Experience in leveraging AI, digital tools, and automation to improve productivity and ways of working.
• Demonstrates strong integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Flexible and responsive in managing urgent business issues, including support outside regular working hours when required.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ownership mindset and bias for action.
• Demonstrates a strong customer focus, with the ability to understand customer needs and drive effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain systems and relationships that meet customer demand forecast, as well as other databases related to shipments and inventory management.
• Inform customers about order status, invoices, contract balances and other information needed to complete the sale.
• Execute customer service strategies.
• Provide support to improvement projects and commitments requiring a basic understanding of customer service practices and procedures.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned
