Job summary

Cargill Indonesia seeks a Customer Operations Specialist to support domestic and export shipments, optimize shipping processes, and resolve order or delivery issues. The role requires coordination with sales, vendors, and customs to ensure timely deliveries and compliant operations.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in Customer Service/Operations, SAP experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Customer Service/Customer Operations/Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Proficient in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, with specific experience in SAP preferred.
• Experience in leveraging AI, digital tools, and automation to improve productivity and ways of working.
• Demonstrates strong integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Flexible and responsive in managing urgent business issues, including support outside regular working hours when required.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ownership mindset and bias for action.
• Demonstrates a strong customer focus, with the ability to understand customer needs and drive effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process inquiries or shipping instructions from customer/sales/overseas.
• Check cargo data and CIPL for both international and domestic shipments.
• Arrange Moda transportation and communicate with vendors.
• Direct monitoring for loading/unloading cargo for every shipment.
• Ensure loading/unloading are conducted safely and per customer and Indonesia's laws/regulations.
• Provide daily reports to customers and monitor with vendors.
• Review import HBL/MBL & CIPL from origin office.
• Coordinate with airlines, manage AWB, export/import clearance with airport customs.
• Booking with shipping lines, manage SI/SO, VGM submissions, port coordination.
• Coordinate with domestic trucking providers, waybill, GPS tracking, POD collection.
• Track and trace cargo to ensure proper movement and delivery.
• Submit manifests in CEISA.
• Coordinate with Customs Clearance for PEB/ PIB.
• Provide accounting with correct billing information.
• Communicate with clients regarding disposition of freight and rate quotations.
• Communicate with vendors regarding shipment dispatch, routing, pricing, and rates.
• Collaborate with other branches for client satisfaction and service excellence.
• Seek the most profitable mode of shipment while meeting client requirements.
• Send original invoices and supporting documents to customers.
• Support Quality, Health, Safety and Environment objectives for the branch.
