Qualifications

Responsibilities

CS EXPORT IMPORT STAFF FOR FREIGHT FORWARDING

PT Maha Harmoni Logistik is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Export Import Staff for Freight Forwarding to join our dynamic logistics team. This is a full-time position based in East Jakarta, Jakarta. As an Export Import Staff, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating freight forwarding operations, ensuring smooth movement of cargo across international borders. You will be responsible for handling documentation, liaising with customs authorities, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and shipping partners. This position is integral to our operations, directly supporting the efficiency and reliability of our freight forwarding services.

Job Description

• Preparing and processing export and import documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, COO, PIB, PEB, Manifest, CEISA submission and supporting legal document.
• Communicating with clients, shipping agents, and logistics partners to provide updates and resolve any issues related to shipments
• Arranging transportation and warehousing solutions for exported and imported goods
• Coordinate with trucking vendor for booking and monitoring trucking
• Preparing freight quotes and invoices for clients based on agreed rates and charges
• Maintaining accurate records of all shipments and transactions in the company database
• Ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Maintain good customer relationships by engaging in problem-solving, demonstrating dedication to exceptional service, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Coordinating with port authorities and shipping lines to arrange vessel space and cargo consolidation

Requirement

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or bachelor's degree, preferably in logistics, transportation, or international trade. High school/vocational school graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Proven experience of at least min 2 years in freight forwarding, export-import operations, or related logistics roles
• Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, customs regulations, and trade documentation requirements
• Proficiency in using freight forwarding software systems and shipment tracking platforms
• Understanding of sea and air freight shipping processes and procedures export, Import especially FCL and LCL.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Indonesian
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and data entry
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Problem-solving aptitude and capability to handle complex logistics challenges
• Familiarity with Indonesian customs procedures and regulations is highly desirable
