Job summary

PT Maha Harmoni Logistik is seeking an Export Import Staff for Freight Forwarding to join our Jakarta team. You will manage export/import documentation, liaise with customs and clients, and coordinate with shipping partners to ensure smooth cargo movements.

The role requires 2+ years in freight forwarding or related logistics, with strong English and Indonesian skills and attention to detail. Based in East Jakarta with full-time employment and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

Diploma or bachelor's in logistics, transportation or international trade.
Minimum 2 years in freight forwarding or export-import operations.
Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, customs and trade docs.
Proficiency with freight forwarding software and tracking systems.
Fluent in English and Indonesian; meticulous with documentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process export/import documentation, including bills of lading, invoices and packing lists.
Communicate with clients, shipping agents and partners to provide updates and resolve issues.
Arrange transportation and warehousing for exports and imports.
Coordinate with trucking vendors for booking and monitoring.
Prepare freight quotes and invoices based on rates and charges.
Maintain accurate shipment records in the company database.
Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and safety standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Coordinate with port authorities and shipping lines to arrange vessel space.
