Job summary

Pancaran Group is seeking a customer-focused professional to engage Mandarin-speaking clients and partners in Jakarta. You will nurture relationships, answer product inquiries, and support the Commercial team in pursuing opportunities.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, preparing communications, and assisting with marketing activities. Candidates should have relevant education and strong language and interpersonal skills, with willingness to travel for meetings/events as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related fields.
• Fluent Mandarin in speech and writing is highly preferred/required.
• Good command of English and/or Bahasa Indonesia.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job description

Approach and communicate with existing and potential customers, particularly Mandarin-speaking customers.

Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and business partners.

Handle customer inquiries and provide initial information regarding products/services.

Support the Commercial team in following up on potential business opportunities.

Assist in communicating customer needs, requests, and feedback to the relevant internal teams.

Coordinate meetings, discussions, and follow-ups with Mandarin-speaking customers.

Prepare and assist with business correspondence, presentations, and other communication materials when required.

Support commercial and marketing activities, including customer visits, events, exhibitions, and business meetings.

Maintain records of customer communications, follow-ups, and business opportunities.

Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and other departments to ensure smooth customer communication and follow-up.

Perform other duties related to commercial and customer communication activities as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, International Business, or a related field.

Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) is highly preferred/required.

Good command of English and/or Bahasa Indonesia.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Confident and comfortable approaching and communicating with customers.

Customer-oriented, proactive, and able to build good relationships.

Good negotiation and follow-up skills.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Previous experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Customer Relations, or Commercial is an advantage.

Willing to travel or attend customer meetings/events when required.
