About the role

Shishi Izakaya Lounge & Nightclub Bali is seeking a Club Server to join our dynamic hospitality team in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position based at our vibrant venue, where you will be at the heart of delivering exceptional service to our diverse clientele. As a Club Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests whilst maintaining the high standards of service that define Shishi. This position requires a passionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced, energetic environment and possesses strong interpersonal skills.

What you'll be doing

• Taking orders from guests for beverages, cocktails, and food items with accuracy and efficiency
• Serving drinks and food to customers promptly whilst maintaining professional presentation and etiquette
• Building positive relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits and enhance their overall experience
• Managing multiple tables and areas simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions with accuracy
• Collaborating with bartenders, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the service area, tables, and bar sections
• Checking identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcoholic beverages
• Responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any service issues professionally
• Suggesting menu items, promoting special offers, and upselling beverages and food where appropriate

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a server, bartender, or in a similar hospitality role, preferably in a nightclub or high-volume venue
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment whilst maintaining composure under pressure
• Strong numeracy skills and accuracy when handling cash and processing transactions
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and ability to carry multiple items safely
• Proficiency in taking orders and using point-of-sale (POS) systems or similar technology
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Indonesian or Mandarin would be advantageous
• A positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to punctuality
• Knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and food offerings is preferred
• Experience working in multicultural environments and serving international clientele
