You’ll manage bar stock, operate POS, adhere to safety standards, and collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen teams. Previous high-end venue experience and relevant certifications are preferred.

About the role

Lago Bali is seeking an experienced and creative bartender to join our team in Nusa Lembongan, Bali. This is a full-time position based at our stunning beachfront venue, where you will be at the heart of our hospitality operations. As a bartender, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Your expertise in mixology, customer engagement and bar management will be essential to maintaining our reputation as a premier destination for cocktails and beverages in Bali.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing and serving a wide variety of cocktails, spirits, beers, wines and non-alcoholic beverages to the highest standards
• Crafting signature and classic cocktails with precision, flair and creativity, whilst maintaining consistency and quality
• Providing exceptional customer service, engaging with guests, taking orders and making recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintaining an organized, clean and hygienic bar workspace, including proper stock rotation and inventory management
• Monitoring and managing bar supplies, including ordering stock when necessary and ensuring adequate levels of spirits, mixers and garnishes
• Operating the point-of-sale system accurately and processing payments securely
• Adhering to all health, safety and food hygiene regulations, as well as responsible alcohol service practices
• Collaborating with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery
• Contributing to a positive team atmosphere and supporting colleagues during peak service periods
• Keeping up to date with trends in mixology and suggesting new drinks for our menu

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Bartender in a busy hospitality environment, preferably in a high-end venue or resort setting
• Comprehensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers and non-alcoholic beverages, including their origins, characteristics and best practices for serving
• Excellent mixology skills with the ability to craft cocktails consistently and efficiently
• Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly, professional and engaging demeanor
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods whilst maintaining quality
• Sound knowledge of responsible alcohol service and relevant licensing laws
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• A passion for hospitality and genuine interest in creating exceptional guest experiences
• Relevant bartending certifications or qualifications (preferred)
