About the role

Y Sport Bar Padang-Padang is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender/Bartendress to join our dynamic team in Bali. This is a contract position based in our vibrant sports bar located in the heart of Padang-Padang. As a Bartender/Bartendress, you will be the face of our establishment, crafting exceptional cocktails and beverages whilst delivering outstanding customer service to our diverse clientele. This role is pivotal in creating memorable experiences for our guests and maintaining the high standards Y Sport Bar Padang-Padang is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers
• Maintain exceptional standards of customer service and hospitality at all times
• Take accurate orders from customers and serve drinks promptly and professionally
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash transactions accuratelyMaintain a clean, organised and safe working environment behind the bar
• Stock and restock the bar with beverages, glassware and supplies as needed
• Develop and maintain knowledge of cocktail recipes, ingredients and drink presentations
• Engage with customers in a friendly and engaging manner to enhance their experience
• Follow health and safety regulations and responsible serving practices
• Collaborate with other bar staff and hospitality team members to ensure smooth operations

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, mixology techniques and bar operations
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact confidently with diverse guests
• Physical fitness and stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash registers
• Attention to detail with high standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Ability to work efficiently during busy periods and peak service times
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility with working hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Relevant certifications in responsible beverage service or bartending qualifications are advantageous
• Fluency in English is preferred
