About the role

We are seeking a Casher Waiter to join the team at thebutterbeats in Seminyak, Bali. This is a full-time position that combines front-of-house service excellence with point-of-sale management. You will be a key member of our hospitality team, delivering exceptional customer service whilst managing cash transactions and ensuring smooth operations during service. This role is essential to creating a welcoming and efficient experience for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly and seating them in accordance with station assignments and restaurant capacity
• Taking orders accurately and communicating them to the kitchen or bar staff
• Serving food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system to process payments, including cash, card and digital transactions
• Handling cash and reconciling the till at the end of each shift
• Processing bills and providing change accurately to guests
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, tables and service stations
• Addressing guest queries and complaints professionally and escalating issues when necessary
• Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Supporting other team members during busy service periods

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in hospitality, waitering or customer-facing roles is highly desirable
• Proficiency in operating point-of-sale systems and handling cash transactions accurately
• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail when processing payments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer service
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask during peak service times
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and carry trays and food items
