PT Utopia Kuliner Indonesia is seeking a talented Business Development Manager in West Jakarta for a full-time role. You will identify and pursue new business opportunities, nurture key client relationships, and drive growth across the region.

You will lead market research, craft proposals and pitches, and negotiate favourable terms while collaborating with sales, operations and marketing teams to ensure successful onboarding and delivery. Fluency in Indonesian and English is preferred.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Business Development Manager to join PT Utopia Kuliner Indonesia in a full-time capacity. Based in West Jakarta, this role represents a strategic opportunity to drive business growth and establish meaningful relationships with key clients and partners. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the expansion of our culinary business across the region. This position plays a crucial role in our company's growth strategy and offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our market presence and revenue generation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential markets for PT Utopia Kuliner Indonesia
• Develop and implement strategic account management plans to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business development strategies
• Prepare comprehensive proposals, presentations and pitches tailored to client needs and objectives
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms for the company
• Monitor account performance and client satisfaction, ensuring expectations are consistently met or exceeded
• Collaborate with internal teams including sales, operations and marketing to ensure successful client onboarding and delivery
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities
• Attend industry events, networking functions and client meetings to represent the company professionally
• Track and report on business development activities, sales metrics and progress against targets

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of success in business development, account management or sales roles within the food and beverage or hospitality sector
• Strong understanding of the culinary and food service industry, including market dynamics and customer needs
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with diverse stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities and convert prospects into long-term clients
• Proficiency in preparing and delivering compelling presentations and proposals
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure mutually beneficial agreements
• Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English, with strong written and verbal proficiency
• Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Self-motivated, results-driven individual with strong organisational and time management abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or a related discipline
• Willingness to travel within Jakarta and surrounding regions as required
