J&T Express is seeking a dynamic Business Development / Key Account Management Specialist in Jakarta to drive new client acquisition and manage onboarding within the logistics sector.

You will nurture long-term client relationships, coordinate with agents and internal teams, and help create client SOPs to streamline operations. Strong communication in Indonesian and English is essential; Mandarin is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in any major. Fresh graduates welcome; 2+ years preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Fluent in Indonesian and English; Mandarin is a strong advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Generate new leads and pitch shipping/logistic services via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
• Onboard new clients and manage contract lifecycles, including Service Agreements and renewals.
• Maintain strong client relationships, handle client entertainment, and travel for business as required.
• Assist in creating and socializing client SOPs, troubleshoot shipping issues, and coordinate with agents and internal teams.
• Handle basic documentation and administrative tasks related to client accounts.

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development / Key Account Management Specialist to drive new customer acquisition, manage client onboarding, and ensure long-term relationships within the logistics and shipping industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Acquisition: Generate new leads and pitch shipping/logistic services via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
• Client Onboarding & Management: Smoothly onboard new clients and manage contract lifecycles, including preparing Service Agreements (PKS) and renewals.
• Relationship Building: Maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, handle client entertainment, and travel out-of-town for business when required.
• Operations & Problem Solving: Assist in creating and socializing client SOPs to branch areas, troubleshoot shipping issues, and coordinate closely with agents and internal management.
• Administration: Handle basic documentation and administrative tasks related to client accounts.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any major (fresh graduates are welcome to apply, though candidates with 2+ years of relevant experience are preferred).
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Language Skills: Fluent in Indonesian and English; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.
• Soft Skills: Responsive, proactive, highly motivated, a strong team player, and possessing great analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility: Willing to travel for business, work overtime when needed, and remain reachable outside of standard working hours.
