Job summary

PT Hyundai Engineering Indonesia Facility Management is seeking a Building Maintenance (BM) & Construction Specialist to lead budgeting, planning, and execution of building projects. You will coordinate with clients, internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery within scope and safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field, 3+ years in construction or facility management, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Strong budgeting, cost estimation, bidding, and procurement experience.
• Good command of English, written and spoken.

Job description

Building Maintenance (BM) & Construction Specialist

Plan, control, and monitor building management and construction project budgets to ensure cost efficiency and proper budget utilization.

Prepare construction, renovation, and maintenance plans, including site readiness, materials, manpower, equipment, and project schedules.

Manage and execute construction and maintenance projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within the approved scope, budget, quality, and safety standards.

Coordinate and supervise routine building maintenance, repair, renovation, and improvement activities.

Monitor building conditions and coordinate necessary corrective actions to maintain a safe, functional, and well-maintained facility.

Monitor and evaluate contractors and subcontractors to ensure work quality, project progress, safety, and compliance with applicable standards.

Handle building and facility-related issues, operational disruptions, and client complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Conduct cost estimation, bidding, negotiation, and procurement activities for construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance works.

Coordinate with clients, internal teams, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and potential issues, and take appropriate corrective actions when required.

Ensure all building management, construction, and maintenance activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, quality standards, and applicable requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, building management, building maintenance, facility management, or a related field.

Strong understanding of construction methods, basic building design, and building maintenance systems.

Experience in handling construction, renovation, maintenance, and building improvement projects.

Familiar with project budgeting, cost estimation, bidding, negotiation, and procurement processes.

Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong problem-solving, communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.

Able to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.

Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Willing to be placed in Cikarang (Deltamas).
