Unilever Oleochemical Indonesia are looking for a Facility Management Engineer to manage estate and workplace services, ensuring office facilities and employee accommodation remain safe, compliant, well-maintained, and fit for purpose.
This role is ideal for a Civil Engineering professional with hands‑on experience in facility, estate, or building management within a multinational environment.
Please be informed this role will be needed to work and relocated to our site at SEZ Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and maintenance of office facilities and employee accommodation.
- Coordinate building maintenance, renovation, civil works, and facility improvement projects.
- Conduct routine site inspections and ensure timely resolution of facility issues.
- Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring performance, SLA compliance, and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, legal requirements, HSE regulations, and audit requirements.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for buildings and utilities.
- Support estate‑related projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, and handover.
- Oversee accommodation readiness, occupancy management, repairs, and employee support services.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and employee experience.
- Maintain facility documentation, contracts, permits, reports, and asset records.
Requirements
- Willing to work and relocated to our site at SEZ Sei Mangkei, North Sumatera.Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Facility Management, Estate Management, Building Management, Workplace Services, or General Affairs.
- Proven experience managing office facilities and employee accommodation, including maintenance, renovation projects, utilities, and vendor coordination.
- Experience working in a multinational company (MNC) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of building and civil works, preventive maintenance, HSE requirements, compliance, and contractor management.
- Experience in project planning, budgeting, cost control, SLA management, and audit preparation.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and service orientation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI experience is a plus.
