Job summary

PT Petgo Bastian in Jakarta is seeking a capable Facility Manager to supervise maintenance and facility staff, ensuring safe, compliant building operations across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.

You will implement preventive maintenance, manage vendor contracts, monitor budgets, report on operations, and coordinate with occupants to address facility needs; 2+ years experience required, Indonesian safety regulations knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

Job description

Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance and facility staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management

Oversee building maintenance operations, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

Conduct routine inspections of building facilities to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety standards

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and extend the lifespan of building systems

Manage emergency response procedures and coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs

Monitor and control facility-related budgets, including maintenance costs and vendor expenses

Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and health and safety requirements

Prepare and submit regular reports on facility conditions, maintenance activities, and operational metrics

Liaise with building occupants and management to address facility-related concerns and requests

Manage vendor relationships and coordinate service contracts for external facility services

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in building facility management or maintenance supervision

Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components

Proven supervisory experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively

Excellent understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards in Indonesia

Proficiency in facility management software and basic computer skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders

Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance and facility management

Valid driver's licence and willingness to undertake site visits

Certification in facilities management or relevant technical qualifications (preferred)

Experience in civil or structural engineering projects (advantageous)
