Job summary

English proficiency and stakeholder negotiation are essential for success. The candidate will recruit and mentor staff across departments, optimize scheduling, and drive performance against service levels and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field is required.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
• Preferably Manager/Assistant Manager with logistics/supply chain experience.
• Experience in International/Domestic Express, Freight, or related industry preferred.
• Strong English language skills (written and verbal) and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and oversee all operational and sales activities at the station to maximize service quality and cost efficiency.
• Select, train, and motivate a team across operations, sales, customer service, billing, and finance to ensure station efficiency.
• Manage workforce planning and scheduling to meet time targets and budget plans.
• Monitor branch operations to ensure compliance with company standards and SLA targets.
• Oversee cost control and utilization of resources to maintain financial performance.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day branch operations and achievement of short- and long-term targets.

Plan, direct, and oversee all operational and sales activities at the station to the fullest extent possible, in order to provide the best possible service to customers whilst ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, any field.

Required skills: Selling Skills, Leadership Skill.

At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Manager / Assistant Managers specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.

Minimum of three years experience in International/Domestic Express, Land, Sea, and Air Freight Industry.

Preferably Manager/Assisstant Manager in Sales - Corporate or equivalent.

Experience in handling branches operations.

Knowledge of express and distribution industry.

Good command of English (both written and verbal).

Strong planning, organizing, negotiation, and presentation skill.

Accustomed to working with revenue targets and service level agreements (SLA).

Understands logistics systems, delivery operations, invoicing, and branch financial administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Select, train, develop, and motivate a team of subordinates comprising staff from the operations, sales, customer service, billing, collections, finance, and accounting departments to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the express station

Manage and utilise the workforce effectively through planning, organizing, and scheduling to achieve time efficiency and compliance with capital and operational budget plans.

Ensuring all branch activities run smoothly.

Developing and monitoring the branch’s progress in achieving short-term and long-term targets.

Planning and developing the branch’s operational objectives to achieve station/branch efficiency and optimise the use of resources.

Managing and monitoring staff and station operations to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations.

Maintaining the station’s operational cost efficiency by utilizing available resources.

Monitoring the station’s performance reports by conducting internal audits of vehicles, parcels, and other operational activities.

Meeting service performance target, and the branch’s revenue plan to support the company’s revenue targets.
