Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia seeks a Head of Indonesia Operations - Logistics to establish and grow our Indonesia operations, focusing on Batam and nearby electronics manufacturing hubs. You will lead local teams, shape structure and procedures, and coordinate cross-border logistics with the China headquarters.

The ideal candidate has deep Indonesian logistics expertise, strong stakeholder networks, and proven leadership in fast-growing, international environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years in logistics with at least 2 years in team management.
• Experience in logistics operations, freight forwarding, warehousing, or related areas.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian logistics market, regulations, and import procedures.
• Experience in free trade zones or bonded areas is highly advantageous.
• Fluent Chinese and English; Bahasa Indonesia proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment, development, and expansion of the Indonesia operations.
• Coordinate the establishment of local business structure, logistics qualifications, tax compliance, labor compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Build and manage local teams across operations, sales, customer service, and other functions.
• Develop localized compensation structures, management systems, procedures, and reporting.
• Establish local warehousing and distribution capabilities and coordinate logistics services for Batam ecosystem.
• Develop B2B clients within electronics manufacturing, industrial, or related sectors.
