Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is hiring a Head of Indonesia Operations – Logistics to lead the establishment and expansion of our Indonesia presence in Batam, with a strong focus on cross-border logistics and electronics manufacturing sector opportunities.

The role requires extensive logistics leadership, regulatory know-how, and the ability to build local teams, warehousing, and distribution capabilities while coordinating with China headquarters and regional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
• 5+ years in logistics with at least 2 years' team management.
• Experience in logistics operations, freight forwarding, warehousing, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian logistics market, regulations.
• Experience in free trade zones or bonded areas is advantageous.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English; Bahasa Indonesia proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and grow the Indonesia operations.
• Coordinate local structure, regulatory compliance, and tax readiness.
• Build and lead local teams across functions.
• Develop warehousing and distribution capabilities in Batam.
• Manage cross-border logistics with China headquarters and partners.
