Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia seeks a Head of Indonesia Operations – Logistics to establish and lead our Indonesian footprint, centered in Batam. You will build local warehousing, distribution, and cross-border capabilities while aligning with China headquarters.

The role requires deep market knowledge, FTZ/bonded area experience, and strong stakeholder management with government authorities and logistics partners. Fluent Chinese and English are essential; Bahasa Indonesia preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
• 5+ years in logistics with at least 2 years in leadership roles.
• Experience in FTZs, bonded areas, or SEZs is advantageous.
• Fluent in Chinese and English; Bahasa Indonesia preferred for local comms.
• Willingness to relocate and work fully on-site in Batam; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead establishment, development, and expansion of Indonesia operations.
• Coordinate local business structure, tax and labor compliance.
• Build and manage local teams across operations, sales and customer service.
• Develop local compensation structures, procedures, and reporting.
