PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking a Head of Indonesia Operations – Logistics to establish and develop our Indonesia operations, focusing on Batam and the electronics ecosystem. The role requires leading local teams, coordinating with China headquarters, and ensuring regulatory compliance across warehousing, distribution, and cross-border transport.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a recognized university.
• At least 5 years in logistics with 2+ years leading teams.
• Experience in logistics operations, freight forwarding, warehousing, or transport.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian market and regulations.
• Experience in free trade zones or bonded areas is advantageous.
• Fluent Chinese and English; Bahasa Indonesia preferred.
• Willingness to relocate and work on-site in Batam.
• Willingness to travel in Indonesia/SE Asia.

Responsibilities

• Lead establishment and expansion of Indonesia operations.
• Set up local business structure, compliance, and regulations.
• Build and manage local teams across functions.
• Develop local compensation, procedures, and reporting.
• Establish warehousing and distribution capabilities.
• Develop B2B clients in electronics manufacturing.
• Maintain relationships with parks, authorities, and partners.
• Coordinate cross-border transport with China HQ.
• Oversee customs clearance, warehousing, and last-mile delivery.
• Monitor KPIs and provide reports to headquarters.
