Pullman Jakarta Central Park is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to oversee events and lead the banquet team through planning and on-site execution. You will coordinate setups, service, and coordination with hotel departments to deliver exceptional events.

The role requires strong leadership, English proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple events, including meetings, weddings, and conferences, while maintaining standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in banquet or F&B operations, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of banquet service standards, event setup, food and beverage service, and function operations.
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple events or tasks simultaneously.
• Professional appearance and strong guest-service orientation.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and extended hours based on event requirements.

Responsabilités

• Supervise banquet operations before, during, and after events.
• Lead, brief, coach, and motivate the banquet team.
• Ensure seamless execution of meetings, weddings, conferences, and social events.
• Coordinate event setups, room layouts, table arrangements, equipment, and service requirements.
• Ensure all events are delivered in line with Novotel service standards.
• Coordinate closely with Culinary, Events, Stewarding, and other hotel departments.
• Monitor food and beverage service, presentation, timing, and quality.
• Welcome guests and respond promptly to requests, concerns, and special requirements.
• Conduct pre-event briefings and communicate event details, VIP requirements, and special arrangements.
• Monitor team grooming, service etiquette, cleanliness, and professional standards.
• Coach and develop team members through on-the-job training and constructive feedback.
• Monitor banquet equipment and inventory and report shortages, damages, or maintenance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
