Job summary

Pullman Jakarta Central Park is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to oversee banquet operations for events, lead and motivate the banquet team, and ensure flawless delivery of meetings, weddings, and conferences in line with Accor standards.

You will coordinate setups, service requirements, and collaborate with Culinary, Events, Stewarding, and other departments while maintaining high guest-service levels and professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in banquet or F&B operations, preferably in a hotel/resort.
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of banquet service standards, event setup, food & beverage service, and function operations.
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple events or tasks simultaneously.
• Professional appearance and strong guest-service orientation.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and extended hours based on event requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet operations before, during, and after events.
• Lead, brief, coach, and motivate the banquet team.
• Ensure seamless execution of meetings, weddings, conferences, and social events.
• Coordinate event setups, room layouts, table arrangements, equipment, and service requirements.
• Ensure events are delivered in line with Novotel service standards.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Events, Stewarding, and other hotel departments.
• Monitor food and beverage service, presentation, timing, and quality.
• Welcome guests and respond to requests, concerns, and special requirements.
• Conduct pre-event briefings and communicate event details, VIP requirements, and special arrangements.
• Monitor team grooming, service etiquette, cleanliness, and professional standards.
• Coach and develop team members through on-the-job training and feedback.
• Monitor banquet equipment and inventory and report shortages or damages.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
