Job summary

Sunday Indonesia is seeking a seasoned Claims Supervisor to oversee daily motor claims operations, ensure accurate verification, assessment, and timely settlements in line with company policies and OJK regulations. You will coach and develop the Claims team to sustain service quality.

Responsibilities include root-cause analysis, process improvements, and cost control while negotiating with repair workshops and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Insurance, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Certification in General Insurance (AAAIK/AAIK) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of motor claims experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Job Description

• Oversee daily motor claims operations to ensure claim verification, assessment, and settlement processes are conducted accurately, timely, and in compliance with company policies and OJK regulations.
• Support the Manager in leading, coaching, and developing the Claims team to achieve optimal performance and maintain service quality standards.
• Conduct technical claim analysis, identify root causes of delays or discrepancies, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Negotiate with repair workshops, vendors, suppliers, and assessors to ensure quality repairs are delivered at cost-effective rates.
• Monitor claim costs, recovery opportunities, and ensure all claim processes comply with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), internal policies, and Sunday’s customer service standards.
• Coordinate closely with Underwriting, Reinsurance, Finance, and Compliance departments to ensure complete documentation and timely claim settlement.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Insurance, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related fields.
• Professional certification in General Insurance (AAAIK/AAIK) will be an high advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in motor claims, with at least 2 years in a Supervisor or Assistant Manager position.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, with solid knowledge of vehicle structures, repair methods, and cost estimation.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a small team while driving operational performance improvements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with workshops, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
