Job summary

MAG Insurance in Jakarta is seeking a Claims Analyst to receive, review, and analyze non-motor claim documents across Property, Engineering, and Liability classes, excluding Marine. You will verify document completeness, assess loss causes, determine claim validity, and prepare analysis reports with recommendations for payment or further investigation.

Collaborating with loss adjusters, insureds, SOBs, and internal teams, you will ensure SLA compliance and maintain clear communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil) or Insurance preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of non-motor claim handling experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, teamwork, and integrity.
• Good understanding of insurance fundamentals.
• Proficient in English, including written English.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and analyze claim documents for non-motor insurance (Property, Engineering, Liability, etc.).

Job description

• Receive, review, and analyze claim documents for Non-Motor Vehicle insurance products, such as Property, Engineering, Liability, and other non-motor insurance classes (excluding Marine insurance).
• Verify the completeness and validity of claim documents in accordance with policy provisions and the company’s internal procedures.
• Analyze the cause of loss and assess the claim amount to determine the validity of the claim.
• Coordinate with Loss Adjusters, Sources of Business (SOB), Insured parties, and related parties to obtain technical information and updates on claim progress.
• Prepare claim analysis reports and provide recommendations for claim payment, rejection, or further investigation to the supervisor.
• Ensure that the claim process is carried out in accordance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and the company’s service standards.
• Maintain good communication with the Insured, Sources of Business, and internal parties to ensure clarity and the smooth handling of the claim process.
• Monitor and follow up on claim progress.
• Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate resolutions to such complaints

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil) or Insurance is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in handling non-motor claims in an Insurance Company or Loss Adjuster company.
• Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills (able to negotiate professionally), teamwork, and integrity.
• Has a good understanding of the fundamentals of insurance.
• Possesses good English proficiency, including the ability to write in English.
