Job summary

Sunday Ins Co., Ltd. in Jakarta is seeking an experienced Claims Supervisor to oversee daily motor claims operations, ensuring verification, assessment and settlement are accurate and compliant.

You will coach and develop a small claims team, conduct technical analyses, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency. You will negotiate with repair workshops and coordinate with underwriting, finance, and compliance to ensure timely documentation and settlements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Insurance, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Professional certification in General Insurance (AAAIK/AAIK is highly advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years of motor claims experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with knowledge of vehicle structures, repair methods, and cost estimation.
• Proven ability to lead a small team and drive performance improvements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with workshops, vendors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily motor claims operations ensuring timely verification, assessment and settlement.
• Support the Manager in coaching and developing the Claims team to maintain service quality.
• Conduct technical claim analysis and recommend process improvements for efficiency.
• Negotiate with repair workshops, vendors, and assessors to ensure cost-effective repairs.
• Monitor claim costs, recovery opportunities, and ensure compliance with SLAs and policies.
• Coordinate with Underwriting, Reinsurance, Finance and Compliance to ensure complete documentation.
