Job summary

ZTE Corporation in Jakarta is seeking an experienced Asset Management Specialist for data centre operations. The role requires on-site support during 5×8 hours, handling asset registration, storage, and decommissioning, and ensuring data accuracy and SLA compliance.

You will coordinate with IT O&M and other teams, manage asset lifecycle from warehousing to decommissioning, and lead project coordination to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Be on duty during 5×8 working hours; respond to urgent requests and provide on-site support.
• Follow asset SOPs for warehouse access registration and asset entry/exit registration.
• Respond to and execute work orders per SLA requirements; ensure asset information accuracy.
• Comply with IDC environment and asset security management standards; manage storage, transport, entry/exit, and decommissioning.
• Maintain full inventory of data centre assets with 100% accuracy; use asset management tools for fast data retrieval and analysis.
• Apply asset management project management processes; manage risk, progress, and project acceptance; empower teams and improve efficiency.

Job Requirement

• 1.Be on duty during 5×8 working hours, able to respond to urgent requests after working hours or provide on‑site support.
• 2.Strictly follow asset SOP to perform warehouse access registration management and asset entry/exit registration management.
• 3.Be familiar with asset management tools and platforms; respond to and execute work orders in accordance with SLA requirements, ensuring SLA compliance rate and accuracy of asset information; possess ability to propose optimization suggestions for asset management and work order processes.
• 4.Be familiar with and comply with IDC environment and asset security management standards; strictly manage all aspects of asset storage, transportation, entry/exit, and decommissioning according to asset SOP; ensure assets are not damaged and data security is maintained; possess ability to propose optimization suggestions for environmental safety and asset safety control measures.
• 5.Be responsible for full inventory of data centre assets, ensuring consistency of asset location, SN, status, model, and record accuracy (100%); proficient in using asset management tools and related software for fast data retrieval, analysis, and abnormal data extraction.
• 6.Familiar with asset management project management processes, with basic capabilities in risk control, progress control, and project acceptance during project implementation, as well as the ability to empower teams and improve efficiency.
• 1.3-5 years of related working experience.
• 2.Familiar with common data centre equipment (switches, servers), components and consumables (optical modules, boards, fibres); warehouse management experience; familiar with warehouse environmental requirements and dust/moisture prevention measures; good at proactively identifying and solving problems; conceptual understanding of IDC asset lifecycle from warehousing to decommissioning.
• 3.Clear and logical expression, polite listening, able to promote cross‑functional team collaboration.
• 4.Able to collaborate with other teams (e.g., IT O&M), mutually reminding about work interface matters; team spirit, proactive support and backup.
• 5.Team management and project coordination; able to handle urgent work demands, independently execute and manage tasks, lead projects, allocate tasks efficiently, and anticipate manpower issues.
