MAP Active Asia is seeking an Area Manager to oversee daily operations across stores in the Jakarta region. You will lead sales initiatives, manage inventories, and ensure adherence to SOPs and brand standards.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and people-management skills, with a proven track record in retail operations and sales. You will drive customer satisfaction, manage promotions, and coordinate store openings to hit targets.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Leader in organizing, planning, and implementing sales strategy to meet weekly/monthly sales budgets.
• Monitor store operations to ensure smooth running during visits.
• Plan and oversee store-wide operations including people management, asset protection, inventory, and customer service to boost sales and satisfaction.
• Oversee merchandising plans and seasonal visual merchandising to align with guidelines.
• Execute and monitor store promotions and customer service standards.
• Coordinate store openings per company timeline.
• Prepare regional sales analysis to set goals and forecast performance.
• Propose and review store KPIs such as ADS, transactions per unit, and conversion rate.
• Control store inventories to support sales and profitability.
• Manage staff budgets and staffing levels per company direction.
• Schedule staff and provide coaching as needed.

Job description

Daily Manage, Control, Drive stores in the territory/ region to implement basic operational and services standard, maintain healthy inventory in order to achieve given sales target.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assisting Store Leader in organizing, planning, and implementing sales strategy to achieve sales budget on weekly/ monthly.
• Monitoring all store operational are running smooth by doing store visit.
• Plan, control and preform store-wide operations activities covering people management, protection of company asset, inventory management, customer servicing following standard operating procedures in order to increase sales, ensure customer satisfaction and compliance to SOP.
• Control implementation of merchandising plan for existing products; manage merchandise traffic in stores and visual merchandising of every season to make sure it aligned Principle Guidelines.
• Control implementation store promotion in store level and customer service as per company standard and training module.
• Plan, execute and monitor all stores opening process as per company timeline.
• Prepare Sales Analysis for Region Head to achieve company objectives through setting sales goals, analysing data base on past performance, and projecting future performance.
• Proposed, Maintain and Review Store KPI (Average Dollar Sales, Unit per Transaction, and Conversion Rate).
• Control merchandise inventories in order to increase sales and profit hence support organization’s goals.
• Control staff budget including, store overtime, store budget manning as per company direction.
• Planning, monitoring and review store staff schedule, coaching if needed.

• Min. Bachelor Degree in any related field.
• Min 3 years of experience as Area Manager in Retail Industry.
• Have knowledge about operation and sales.
