Job summary

Minor Food is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead multi-store operations and optimize profitability. You will set targets, manage budgets, and drive cross-functional collaboration with store teams to meet standards and strategic goals.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in multi-store leadership within food/retail, strong budgeting and forecasting skills, and a proven ability to develop staff while maintaining high quality customer service and compliance with safety

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor degree in Business Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in management of multi-store operations.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in food/retail business.
• Good experience with budgeting, P&L statements, capital expenditures and forecasting.
• Good knowledge of food safety.
• Strong skills in driving for results.
• Strong skills in people management and development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure execution of operating standards that optimize returns on assets and increases sales and improves profits.
• Analyze and report weekly on controllable, sales and profits to ensure accurate and timely financial tracking.
• Develop and recommend operating plan, training budget and budget and ensure meeting budgetary guidelines.
• Ensure crisis management system is followed as required to maintain efficient operations.
• Ensure good public relations efforts to enhance and preserve a good company image.
• Drive through business growth in assigned areas.
• Set sales targets for responsible areas and drive sales to achieve targets.
• Evaluate sales trends and take action to close gaps.
• Provide input to Area Manager and Store Manager on local programs to maximize Marketing impact.

Responsibilities

Business

• Ensure execution of operating standards that optimize returns on assets and increases sales and improves profits.

• Must be competent in developing and recommending operating plan, training budget and budget in addition to ensuring meeting established budgetary guidelines.
• Ensure crisis management system is followed as requires to maintain efficient operations.
• Ensure good public relations efforts as requires enhancing and preserving a good company image.
• Focus Drive thru Business
• Set sales target of the responsible areas and drive sales to ensure achieve target.
• Evaluate sales trends and take appropriate action plan to close the sales gaps.
• Provide input to Area Manager and Store Manager on local programs to maximize the impact of Marketing.

Customer

• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction at all time.
• Ensure all store operate at a high quality level of Q.S.C. standard with emphasis on customer service while adhering to all health and safety company standards and procedures.
• Ensure Area Manager and Store Manager resolves customer complaints in a proper and swift manner.

People

• Take an appropriate employment actions to ensure quality of management and proper staffing levels.
• Lead the team to create, develop and update any related procedures / systems and operational manual.
• Coach, counsel and develop Area Manager and Store Manager in the achievement of company standards and their personal development plans.
• Ensure proper training phases are successfully completed of all company store personnel in relation to their development.
• Utilize a communication process to ensure all staff is aware of expectations and performance standards.
• Ensure that any government regulations are upheld by all management staff.
