Job summary

Ultra Voucher is seeking an Account Executive Intern to support merchant relations and activation activities in Jakarta. You will manage communications with existing merchants, monitor outlet performance, and help drive transaction growth through campaigns and onboarding of new features.

This internship targets final-year students or recent graduates in business-related fields, with a preference for those with experience in sales, marketing, or customer relations and a willingness to visit

Qualifications

• Final-year student or fresh graduate from Management, Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field.
• Internship or organizational experience in sales, marketing, customer relations, account management, or a related field is preferred.
• Comfortable communicating with business owners and outlet staff.
• Good communication and basic negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with strong discipline in conducting regular follow-ups.
• Able to use Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for basic data management, monitoring, and reporting.
• Target-oriented and comfortable managing multiple merchant accounts or portfolios.
• Willing to conduct visits to merchant outlets across Jabodetabek.
• Interest in the F&B industry, digital platforms, or marketplaces is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support management and retention of existing merchants as the main contact for operational needs, questions and concerns.
• Maintain regular communication with merchants based on the assigned portfolio.
• Monitor merchant and outlet transaction performance daily and weekly; identify outlets with declining or inactive transactions.
• Support merchant activation programs and campaigns; onboard new features to merchants.
• Prepare weekly portfolio reports; conduct periodic visits to priority merchant outlets in Jabodetabek as needed.

Job description

The Account Executive Intern position will support the management and retention of existing merchants by maintaining strong merchant relationships, monitoring outlet performance, and driving merchant activation and transaction growth. The role will support merchant communication, follow-ups, promotional and campaign activities, as well as event and feature onboarding, while ensuring merchant data and performance updates are properly maintained and reported.

Job Description

• Manage relationships with existing merchants as their main contact person for operational needs, questions, and concerns.
• Maintain regular communication with merchants based on the assigned portfolio.
• Monitor merchant and outlet transaction performance on a daily and weekly basis and identify outlets that experience declining or inactive transactions.
• Support merchant activation programs, especially for active outlets that have not generated transactions.
• Check outlet profile readiness, including menu photos, menu availability, pricing, and operating hours.
• Follow up with inactive merchants through communication and win-back initiatives to encourage them to resume transactions.
• Follow up with merchants to support the opening of additional outlets under existing brands.
• Offer and explain available promotional programs and coordinate merchant participation in campaigns.
• Monitor the implementation and performance of merchant promotions.
• Coordinate merchant participation in events and other activation activities.
• Support the offering and onboarding of new features to existing merchants and assist during the initial implementation.
• Maintain and update merchant databases, including outlet status, PIC, contact details, and communication history.
• Prepare weekly reports covering portfolio status, active and problematic outlets, and follow-up progress.
• Conduct periodic visits to priority merchant outlets in the Jabodetabek area when needed.

Requirements
