Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an Account Executive Intern to support merchant relationships and activation efforts in Indonesia. The role focuses on helping management retain merchants, monitor performance, and drive transaction growth with regular follow-ups.

The ideal candidate is a final-year student or recent graduate in Management, Business, Marketing, or related fields, with strong communication skills, detail orientation, and basic Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Final-year student or fresh graduate in Management/Business/Marketing or related field.
• Internship or organisational experience in sales, marketing, customer relations, account management, or related field preferred.
• Comfortable communicating with business owners and outlet staff.
• Good communication and basic negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented and organised with strong follow-up discipline.
• Able to use Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for basic data management, monitoring, and reporting.
• Willing to conduct visits to merchant outlets across Jabodetabek.
• Interest in F&B industry, digital platforms, or marketplaces is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with existing merchants as their main contact person for operational needs, questions, and concerns.
• Maintain regular communication with merchants based on the assigned portfolio.
• Monitor merchant and outlet transaction performance on a daily and weekly basis and identify outlets with declining or inactive transactions.
• Support merchant activation programs, especially for active outlets not generating transactions.
• Check outlet profile readiness, including menu photos, availability, pricing, and hours.
• Follow up with inactive merchants to resume transactions and open additional outlets under existing brands.
• Offer and explain available promotional programs and coordinate merchant participation in campaigns.
• Monitor the implementation and performance of merchant promotions.
• Coordinate merchant participation in events and activation activities.
• Support onboarding of new features to existing merchants and assist during initial implementation.
• Maintain and update merchant databases with outlet status, PIC, contact details, and communication history.
• Prepare weekly portfolio reports and progress on follow-ups.
• Conduct periodic visits to priority merchant outlets in Jabodetabek when needed.

The Account Executive Intern position will support the management and retention of existing merchants by maintaining strong merchant relationships, monitoring outlet performance, and driving merchant activation and transaction growth.
