Job summary

LogisticFirm in Hong Kong seeks Head of Trade Development (Transpacific) to lead commercial development and performance of APAC–USA/ANZ trade. You will drive volumes, profitability, and strategic growth across corridors, while building relationships with major customers and carriers.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in logistics, and fluent English and Chinese, with strong analytical and negotiation skills to steer cross-border growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Logistics or related field.
• Experience in commercial and operational freight/NVOCC roles.

Responsibilities

• Drive volumes and profitability of APAC–USA/ANZ trade.
• Develop and execute Transpacific trade strategy and corridors.
• Identify opportunities to grow market share, customer base and shipment volumes.
• Analyze trade flows, capacity, carrier networks, and market pricing.
• Develop short-, mid-, and long-term commercial plans for the trade.
• Own and drive commercial performance including revenue and gross profit.
• Build senior relationships with key importers, exporters, and manufacturers.
• Lead or support major contracts, RFPs, and tenders.
