PERSOL Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Senior Trade Lane Executive / Supervisor to manage international partner routing, pricing quotations, and overseas channel communication. This role requires close collaboration with agency networks and internal teams to optimize ocean freight tariffs and service levels.

The ideal candidate has 4–5+ years in sea freight forwarding or NVOCC routing, with strong English, Cantonese, and Putonghua communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Shipping, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field.
• 4–5+ years of sea freight forwarding, NVOCC routing desks, ocean pricing, or partner account support.
• Familiar with carrier buying rates, surcharges, container cycles, and Transpacific dynamics.
• Strong written and verbal English; Cantonese/Putonghua helpful.
• Proficient with Excel and standard freight systems.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the daily communication link for overseas agency networks, building routing partnerships.
• Process spot rate inquiries, tenders, and RFQ bid packages for port-to-port routes.
• Develop sharp, margin-conscious ocean tariffs with the trade management team.
• Monitor allocations, container trends, and lane metrics to hit targets.
• Coordinate with operations, bookings, and documentation to resolve cargo issues.
• Draft and roll out account-specific SOPs to ensure carrier standards are met.
• Join alignment calls and occasional overseas trade visits (1–2 times annually).

Senior Trade Lane Executive / Supervisor (TP Trade)

Our client is an established international ocean logistics provider and licensed NVOCC holding substantial carrier allocations across the Transpacific corridor. To support their expanding regional trade network, they are hiring an energetic Senior Trade Lane Executive / Supervisor to manage international partner routing, pricing quotations, and overseas channel communication.

Responsibilities

Serve as the principal daily communication link for overseas agency networks, cultivating long-term routing partnerships and exploring reciprocal business.

Screen and process ad-hoc spot rate inquiries, rate tenders, and scheduled RFQ bid packages covering diverse port-to-port routing requests.

Collaborate with trade management teams to formulate sharp, margin-conscious ocean freight tariffs that capture volume on targeted service loops.

Monitor shipping allocations, container volume trends, and trade lane metrics across assigned global accounts to hit business targets.

Bridge operational communication among internal teams (operations, booking desks, documentation) to resolve cargo release or scheduling discrepancies smoothly.

Document and roll out account-specific SOPs to ensure local fulfillment meets agreed carrier standards and partner service benchmarks.

Join scheduled alignment calls and participate in occasional overseas trade visits (1–2 times annually) to deepen agency collaboration.

Requirements

Tertiary qualification or Bachelor’s degree in Shipping, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field.

4–5+ years of practical background in sea freight forwarding, NVOCC routing desks, ocean pricing, or partner account support.

Practical familiarity with carrier buying rates, ocean surcharges, container shipping cycles, and Transpacific trade lane dynamics.

Comfortable managing day-to-day correspondence with global partners across different working time zones.

Solid written and verbal English communication abilities; working knowledge of Cantonese and Putonghua.

Confident working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets (data sorting, VLOOKUP/basic formulas) and standard commercial freight systems.

Responsible, adaptable team player with practical coordination abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
