Job summary

Leadingnation in Hong Kong seeks a Sales Manager to drive new freight forwarding business, maintain key customer relationships, and develop agent and nomination accounts.

The role requires 5+ years in freight forwarding/3PL sales, a strong client base, and fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin. You will prepare proposals, coordinate with overseas teams, and contribute to growth in a stable, globally connected logistics network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding and 3PL, including at least 3 years in a solid sales role.
• Strong client base in air freight, sea freight, or logistics is a must.
• Proven ability to develop free hand cargoes, agent business, and nomination accounts.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, multi-tasking, and able to work independently with initiative.
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Hands-on PC skills, particularly in MS Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of the US and Southeast Asian markets is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new freight forwarding business opportunities, including free hand cargoes and agent business.
• Manage nomination accounts and routing changes, and follow up on sales leads in a timely manner.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with air and sea freight customers, logistics clients, and overseas agents.
• Communicate and liaise with overseas agents to support business development and service coordination.
• Prepare monthly sales reports and support bidding materials or other commercial documents when required.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements.
• Monitor market opportunities, maintain client relationships, and support business growth initiatives.
