Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Hong Kong is seeking a building services engineer to lead maintenance and improvements for critical building systems, ensuring safety, reliability and regulatory compliance. You will oversee contractors, prepare tenders, evaluate proposals and implement preventive maintenance programs, collaborating with internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a degree in engineering, 4–5 years of experience in building services, and strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in building services engineering.
• EMSD Registered Electrical Worker Certificate (Grade A or above) is an advantage.
• Experience in HVAC/MVAC, Chiller Plant.
• Proficient in preparing tender documents and procurement processes.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

What this job involves

• Carry out and oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement for building services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, etc) to ensure optimal performance, safety and regulatory compliance

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in building services engineering
• Holder of EMSD Registered Electrical Worker Certificate (Grade A or above) is an advantage
• Relevant maintenance experience in HVAC/MVAC, Chiller Plant
• Proficient in preparing tender documents and managing procurement processes
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
