Job summary

Sangfor Technologies Hong Kong is seeking an experienced pre-sales engineer to shape project technology strategy, map client requirements, articulate risks, and plan the full project life cycle. You will prepare business value solutions, deliver proposals, conduct proofs‑of‑concepts, and oversee technical solution choices.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in IT, deep TCP/IP/network knowledge, and CCNA/CCNP certifications, with fluent Cantonese.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in IT with pre-sales experience.
• Solid knowledge of network best practices and TCP/IP.
• Excellent Cantonese communication skills.

Job description

• Develop project technology strategy by understanding key client objectives; diagnosing and mapping client requirements; articulating solution risks and barriers; recommending project approaches; preparing time and cost estimates; and planning full project life cycle.
• Prepare and deliver business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing and presentation, and conduct proof-of-concept to showcase its technical feasibility when necessary.
• Propose technical solutions and oversee the selection of technologies and estimate resources required to develop the proposed solutions to meet customer’srequirements.
• Complete technical document refer to TOR/training/site-reference etc.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the IT industry as pre-sales is required, including solid knowledge of network best practices. Thorough understanding of TCP/IP, including Proxy/firewall/IPS/endpoint security/APT/SIEM.
• Knowledge of network security.
• Know well about mainstream network equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet , Bluecoat, etc).; Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of troubleshooting technical issues involving network and Sangfor products.
• Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP and proven experience will be preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Cantonese
