Job summary

A fast-growing IT solutions provider in Hong Kong is seeking a Solution Consultant to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of IT solutions for clients. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in desktop and server support, strong project management skills, and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities include building client relationships, participating in technical solutions during pre-sales, and coordinating the transition of services for ongoing support. This role requires a degree in IT-related disciplines and familiarity with various operating systems.

Qualifications

Job Description

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Solution Consultant

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful implementation and adoption of total solutions by client and overall client satisfaction;
• Build and maintain close relationships with customers and suppliers through all phases of needs assessment and solution implementation;
• Participate in technical solutions for customers during pre‑sales stage;
• Work with project team to support resource plan, test plan, testing execution, problem management, and operation processes transformation;
• Provides IT Pre‑Sales activities including Proof‑of‑Value, Product Presentation, Product Evaluation, Proposal Formulation
• Develop new IT Solution technology
• Work internally with Sales Team and Product Team to enhance product development
• Work externally with vendors and partners to generate business opportunities
• Manage to implement infrastructure integration solution and support to internal, external systems including existing and new rollouts.
• Assess, evaluate and recommend the vendor solution’s feasibility under facilities, server, desktop, network, user operation, etc.
• Enforce to incorporate resilience, diversity, redundancy, security measures during infrastructure planning and design.
• Coordinate the deployment or rollout, and ensures proper service transition to vendor, internal IT and outsourcing teams for on‑going support.
• Prepare planning and design documentation.

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Information Technology or related disciplines.
• 6 years' in-depth experience in desktop / server implementation and support.
• Solid experience in managing and integrating infrastructure.
• Solid experience in desktop / server products and system management in sizeable organization.
• Preferred certification holder in MCSE/MCITP, CCNA/CCNP, CISSP or other cybersecurity certificate is preferred.
• Familiar with Windows, Unix and Linux OS and their respective management tools.
• Good technical, problem solving and project management skill plus vendor management exposure.
• Excellent communication skills, leadership and good command of spoken and written English.
