Job summary

Gfi World in Hong Kong invites applications for the Technical Specialist - Cybersecurity & Network. You will design cybersecurity solutions, monitor network security, configure network equipment, and drive security best practices across systems.

The role requires a degree or higher diploma in Information Engineering or equivalent, at least 3 years in network and cybersecurity, and relevant certificates such as CCNP, CISSP, CISA, or CISM are a plus. Fluency in English and Chinese is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in network and cybersecurity.
• Professional certificates CCNP, CISSP, CISA, or CISM are a plus.
• Strong technical foundation across network security and endpoint protection.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cybersecurity solution design.
• Running regular checks on network and data security.
• Hands on configuring network equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of the latest threats, vulnerabilities, mitigation and industry best practices.
• Validate and enforce baseline security configurations for operating systems, applications.
• Reviews and analyzes daily security intelligence feeds, provides detection engineering recommendations, and applies protections to mitigate new threats.
• Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
• Working with vendors to procure IT goods and services.
• Designing training programs and workshops for staff.
• Conducting regular system audits, managing IT asset and inventory.
• Running and sharing regular operation system reports with supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Strong in technical background with hands-on experience in all rounded technical skills such as network security, endpoint security, managed security service etc

• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
