Job summary

CITIC Telecom International CPC Limited seeks a Security Consultant with strong pre-sales capability to understand client IT security challenges and design compliant solutions. You will prepare proposals and quotations, liaise with vendors, and contribute to product feedback.

The role requires knowledge across firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, cloud security and SIEM, plus fluency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related subjects in information security or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years IT experience, including at least 1 year in information security.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand customer IT challenges and security requirements; provide security advisory services by designing and proposing solutions that meet client needs.
• Prepare proposals, statements of work, presentations, and training materials for pre-sales activities.
• Obtain supplier quotations for materials, prepare sales items including product descriptions and pricing, and generate quotations to customers.
• Liaise with third-party suppliers or business partners to support sales and close deals.
• Provide suggestions to the product team from technical and pre-sales perspectives to inform product development.
• Proactively maintain knowledge of the company’s security solutions, market offerings, and latest industry technologies.
• Collaborate with Security Services Delivery and Customer Services teams to support service provisioning.
• Handle ad hoc projects as assigned.

Job description

Prepare relevant materials such as proposals, statements of work, presentations, and training materials for pre‑sales activities.

Obtain supplier quotations for materials, prepare sales items including product descriptions and pricing, and generate quotations to customers.

Liaise with third‑party suppliers or business partners to support sales and close deals.

Provide suggestions and comments to the product team from technical and pre‑sales perspectives to inform product development.

Proactively maintain knowledge of the company’s current security solutions, market offerings, and the latest industry technologies.

Collaborate with Security Services Delivery and Customer Services teams to support service provisioning.

Handle ad hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related subjects in information security or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of IT work experience, including at least 1 year in information security.
• Professional certifications in information security such as CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001, CISP are a plus.
• Experience in setting up and installing software on Linux, Unix and Windows platforms.
• Knowledge of information security services and products, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, cloud security, DDOS protection, web application firewall, vulnerability assessments, endpoint security, SIEM, SOC operations, etc.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and platforms, understanding their security implications; experience leveraging AI in cybersecurity solutions is a plus.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
• Good interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and Chinese typing.
