Job summary

Cathay Pacific Information Technology Department seeks a Senior Solution Lead to drive technology direction and solution delivery within a business domain. You will lead a dynamic delivery team, shaping roadmaps and ensuring alignment with business goals and architecture.

Responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders, guiding development, and mentoring delivery teams while promoting Agile and DevSecOps practices across initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years IT experience across software development, system analysis and delivery
• Degree in Information Technology or related discipline; master’s preferred
• Proven leadership in delivering medium to large-scale technology initiatives
• Experience managing software teams and coordinating with vendors/delivery partners
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication
• Experience in Agile environments and DevSecOps practices
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and modern software architecture (advantage)

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to translate priorities into technology solutions
• Shape product roadmaps aligning tech investments with business goals
• Lead design, development, implementation and support of IT products across a domain
• Collaborate with developers, analysts and architects for scalable solutions
• Drive medium to large-scale initiatives with governance and risk management
• Oversee quality through testing across security, performance and integration
• Mentor delivery teams and external partners; promote Agile/DevSecOps practices
• Stay updated on technologies to drive innovation and efficiency
• Lead digital transformation to improve processes and user experience
• Promote AI, automation and Power Platform prototypes to validate ideas
