Cathay Pacific is seeking a senior leader to shape its infrastructure and security architecture, guiding a skilled team and setting strategic roadmaps to support business operations and growth.

You will influence technology standards, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive adoption of emerging technologies to improve reliability, cost efficiency, and time-to-market across a diverse technology estate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of IT experience with leadership in infrastructure.
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex infrastructure platforms.
• Experience leading large multicultural teams.
• Strong stakeholder management across IT and business functions.
• Ability to influence senior management and drive decisions.
• Experience managing global projects across cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Infrastructure and Security Architecture function, setting technical direction and ensuring solutions support organisational goals and growth.
• Shape infrastructure strategy, roadmaps, annual work plans, and investment priorities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, communicating relevance across the organisation.
• Define and maintain infrastructure standards, architecture principles, and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, testing, security, procurement, solution delivery teams, and business units to ensure compliance.
• Design infrastructure solutions using standard building blocks and simplified architecture approaches.
• Validate solution designs and implementations against approved architecture and requirements.
• Manage the lifecycle of infrastructure products and services, adjusting priorities as needed.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team through coaching and mentorship.
• Drive strategic vendor partnerships to deliver expertise and effective infrastructure.
