Job summary

Cathay Pacific is seeking a Solution Analyst within the Subsidiary Solution Centre (Cathay Dining) to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications. You will drive end-to-end software development with internal and external stakeholders, delivering high-quality, user-friendly applications aligned with Cathay’s service standards.

The role focuses on system design, integration, and data migration, ensuring solutions meet strategic objectives while maintaining strong

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years in IT with at least 3 years in application development and support.
Tertiary qualifications are essential.
Hands-on technical development and implementation experience.
Experience in SAP, ERP or WMS is an added advantage.
Experience in Agile delivery model is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Analyse requirements and assess solution options from a system perspective.
Support solution design and contribute knowledge to ensure high level design decisions can be delivered.
Map and document requirements to functional and technical specifications for software projects.
Provide production support for in-production systems and rotate on-call duties.
QA and oversee development of solution components to meet Cathay's standards.
Contribute to development standards and frameworks and follow them.
Participate in system integration and data migration across platforms with minimal disruption.
Provide timely project updates on progress, risks, milestones and dependencies.
