Job summary

Aon is seeking a Senior Manager – Commercial Risk Management in Hong Kong to lead growth, retain key clients and develop new business. You will serve as frontline advisor on insurance programs, assess exposures, and present coverage options and budgets to clients.

The ideal candidate has strong communication and negotiation skills, solid general insurance experience (Property, Casualty, Liability, Motor), and proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients and insurers.
• Excellent negotiation skills with insurers for quotations and loss adjusters for claims.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; able to analyze data and present insights.
• Solid general insurance experience across Property, Casualty, Public Liability, Motor, etc.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and teamwork.
• Self-motivated and hard-working; able to manage multiple client needs.
• Professional certifications ANZI I or ACII are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Management and Team Leader to achieve and steady growth in production.
• Retain existing clients and business by high renewal rations.
• Develop new business by client’s penetration and create new business opportunity.
• Frontline representative to take care insurance necessity of clients.
• Identify risks exposure, analysis loss history, provide risks transfer recommendation.
• Provide professional advice on insurance program design, arrange proper coverage terms and conditions.
• Conduct marketing exercises to source the most comprehensive offers from insurers.
• Prepare insurance proposals and reports.
• Participate in client presentations on renewals or new business.
• Handle daily insurance enquiries and quotations discussions with insurers or service providers.
