Job summary

AIG in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive sales growth in General Insurance through the Life-Source and Local Broker channels. You will expand our agency and broker relationships, lead cross-sell opportunities, and contribute to sales and marketing initiatives.

The role requires university graduate, energy, self-starter attitude, strong Chinese and English communication, and the ability to map production goals with agents.

Qualifications

• University graduate preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and persuasion skills.
• Self-starter with results-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Develop General Insurance Business within Life-Source Channel and Local Broker Channel.
• Contribute to sales channel practices to improve agent productivity and efficiency.
• Be involved with sales and marketing activities to increase submissions and sales penetration.
• Analyse agents'/brokers portfolios to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with agents through frequent interaction.
• Help agents map production goals and development plans.
• Track agents'/brokers' performances and recommend solutions.
• Provide training to increase product proficiency.
• Assist Campaign and Communications to develop promotions and campaigns.
• Work with Service Centers and Product Towers on quality service and standards.
• Generate business from Life-Source agents and Local Brokers and meet targets.
• Introduce product range to agents/brokers and drive growth.
