Job summary

Sanderson-Ikas seeks a Senior Algorithmic Trading Developer for cash equities in Hong Kong, joining a front-office focused team. You will design, build and enhance execution algorithms used by institutional desks.

You'll own key platform components, work with traders and quants, and help set technical direction while growing into leadership roles. Strong Python, analytics and high-performance software skills are essential.

Qualifications

10+ years hands-on software development experience in finance or high-performance systems.
Experience developing or supporting electronic trading or execution systems.
Strong knowledge of equity microstructure and execution concepts.
Proven ability to own projects and guide architecture.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and enhance cash equity execution algorithms and the trading platform.
Translate trading requirements into robust, scalable technology solutions.
Take technical ownership of major components and guide engineering practices.
Collaborate with traders, researchers and business stakeholders.
Build testing, simulation/backtesting, monitoring and operational tooling.
Drive architecture decisions and longer-term technology direction.
Provide Level 2 production support for critical systems.
Deliver complex projects from requirements to production.
