Job summary

Sanderson-iKas Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join a business-facing technology team. You will design and deliver high-performance applications that support Front Office activities and pricing analytics, working directly with Traders and Quants to translate requirements into robust solutions.

You will build scalable systems and APIs for real-time trading workflows, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and contribute to architectural standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in investment banking or financial services.
• Ideally from a Front Office-facing technology, trading, pricing or risk background.
• Strong understanding of software design, APIs and scalable systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance applications and services supporting Front Office activities.
• Work directly with Traders, Quants and business users to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Build and integrate pricing, risk analytics and quantitative services.
• Develop scalable systems and APIs supporting real-time financial workflows.
• Troubleshoot and optimise production systems with technology and business teams.
• Contribute to architecture and engineering standards.
