UBS Global Markets is seeking a Senior Algo Quant Developer for Equity Derivatives in Hong Kong. You will build real-time, low-latency pricing systems and apply AI to automate workflows, surfacing insights and delivering robust, scalable Java server‑side platforms.

You will architect and deliver a new global equity options platform, work with business users to translate complex requirements, and ensure quality, security and compliance while evolving the platform in collaboration with a global

Qualificações

• 5+ years’ experience in Equity Derivatives front office/derivatives domain.
• Strong Java software development skills, with real-time/low-latency pricing exposure.
• Hands-on AI experience across software engineering, automation, analytics or trading workflows.
• Proven ability to test automation and deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Experience with DevOps capabilities and production reliability.
• Excellent communication, and ability to work in a front‑office environment.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and deliver the global equity options RFQ, auto‑pricing and electronic trading platform.
• Translate business/regulatory requirements into automated solutions with business users.
• Leverage AI to automate workflows and surface analytics and signals.
• Apply software engineering practices ensuring quality, security, reliability and compliance.
• Collaborate with the global team to evolve the platform, monitor production health, resolve incidents and address root causes.
• Share AI/technical/domain knowledge, mentor colleagues, support hiring and contribute to engineering culture.
