Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in related roles.
• Familiarity with electronic trading systems and controls.
• Deep knowledge of financial services IT systems.
• Hands-on experience in electronic trading, SRE, or related fields.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash).
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile, CI/CD, resiliency and security.
• Experience with cloud/AI/ML or related tech domains.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, supports and maintains the benchmark algo trading platform.
• Contributes to front-office pre- and post-trade analysis and strategy design.
• Collaborates to design and build algo strategies and smart order routing.
• Promotes reliability across the software development lifecycle and deployment practices.
• Translates client trading requirements into customized algo strategies.
• Sets up A/B experiments to evaluate algo performance.
• Ensures smooth onboarding and data flow with upstream/downstream teams.
• Drives post-incident analysis and corrective actions.
• Documents runbooks and SOPs; fosters a culture of reliability.
• Works with financial data (trading, execution, risk).
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
